Reporting that works in the real world
Edge Credit Reporting is a reporting partner for businesses that furnish consumer payment data to the credit bureaus. We convert data from operational systems into Metro 2 format, submit to Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion, and manage disputes through e-OSCAR so our clients can focus on running their business.
We have been doing this since 2001. In that time, we have learned that reporting programs do not fail because of technical formatting alone. They fail when the workflow is brittle, when disputes pile up without a process, when data does not map cleanly from real systems, or when no one trusts the reporting to hold up under operational pressure.
Edge is built for that pressure.
What we do
Three services, tightly integrated:
We take account data from virtually any source format (CSV, Excel, fixed-width exports, API feeds, custom reports) and convert it into validated, bureau-ready Metro 2 files. Your team does not need to learn the specification or restructure your systems.
Monthly reporting to Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion on your schedule. We monitor file acceptance, resolve rejections, and handle the back-and-forth so your data appears on consumer credit reports accurately and on time.
When consumers challenge reported information, disputes arrive through e-OSCAR and require investigation and response within strict FCRA timelines. We manage the full lifecycle: intake, investigation, documentation, response, and follow-through. This is where most reporting programs break down at scale, and it is built into every engagement from day one.
Who we work with
Edge works with data furnishers across six primary verticals, each with its own reporting complexities:
- Auto dealers and lenders managing BHPH portfolios and installment reporting
- Student loan servicers handling deferment, forbearance, and borrower-sensitive reporting
- Utility providers using reporting as a payment accountability tool alongside existing billing workflows
- HOA management companies reducing overdue assessments without escalating to liens or legal action
- Property managers standardizing rent receivables and cutting bad debt across portfolios
- Consumer lenders needing accurate furnishing and stronger operational follow-through
We are most useful where overdue balances, compliance sensitivity, and operational complexity all intersect.
Why businesses choose Edge over alternatives
We start from your data, not our requirements. Most operational systems (billing platforms, loan software, property management tools) do not produce Metro 2 output. We bridge that gap without requiring you to change systems or restructure exports.
Dispute management is not an add-on. For many vendors, dispute handling is an afterthought. At Edge, it is integrated into the reporting workflow from day one because we know that is where programs break down as volume grows.
We stay current so you do not have to. The CDIA updates the Credit Reporting Resource Guide (CRRG) annually, with periodic bulletins between releases. Bureau requirements evolve. We maintain compliance with current standards so our clients are always reporting to the latest guidance.
Twenty-five years of pattern recognition. We have seen how reporting programs fail: brittle file prep, stale dispute codes, undocumented processes, systems that cannot adapt. That experience shapes how we build and maintain programs for our clients.
