When you’re starting your journey with Edge Credit Reporting, staying in the loop is essential. But sometimes, our emails—or those from the major credit bureaus—end up in your spam or junk folder. This can delay your onboarding and keep you from getting the information you need.
Let’s break down why this happens and how you can make sure you never miss an important message.
Why Are My Emails Going to Spam or Junk?
Email providers like Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, and others use filters to protect you from unwanted or suspicious messages. Sometimes, these filters are a little too aggressive and send legitimate emails to your spam or junk folder—especially if they come from new contacts or contain attachments and links.
This is a common issue for anyone using popular email services, and it’s especially frustrating when you’re waiting for important updates or documents.
Why It Matters for Your Credit Reporting Process
Missing emails from Edge Credit Reporting or the credit bureaus can mean:
- Delays in your onboarding process
- Missed requests for information or documentation
- Not receiving critical updates about your credit report
To keep things moving smoothly, it’s important to make sure our emails—and those from the bureaus—land in your inbox every time.
How to Whitelist Important Email Addresses
To ensure you receive all necessary communications, add these domains to your safe sender list (also known as “whitelisting”):
